Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

CBK 2014 Summer Programs
Summer Programs Catalogues have now mailed to our current list (you should have automatically received one if you participated last year or if you are a WATS participant this year). If you would like to receive a copy and have not recently participated in a CBK program, please drop us an email with your name and postal address.
For the first time this year, we will be accepting standard applications ONLINE! Financial aid/merit or portfolio applicants must submit all materials via postal mail. This will not affect your acceptance date, as assignments occur by postmark/online date stamp. The full summer catalogue and all applications and forms are available online. All pieces of the application must be submitted at the same time, so if you are a new student considering applying for Summer Programs, please go ahead and print the Teacher Recommendation Form. You will need two and can get a head start.
On the campus of the Colorado School of Mines and held residentially:
GLOW Jun 8-21 (rising grades 6-8)
Luminary Project Jun 29-Jul 19 (grds 8-11)
SHINE Jul 27-Aug 2 (grds 4-6)
Acceptance packets will begin to go out March 15th and we are working this year to put nearly everything online through a secure account you will establish with CBK. Please watch your email for more information if you have already applied.
CBK is seeking summer residential assistants for each of our three programs. You may apply for one or multiple programs if you are interested. Please note that these positions are full-time, overnight positions that will require you to be fully available during that program without commitments to other jobs. Please see Call for Summer Residential Staff for details on this enriching and exciting opportunity.
Western Academic Talent Search
The 2013-2014 Academic Talent Search season has drawn to a close. If you would like to be added to the fall mailing list for the 2014-2015 WATS Bulletin and Application, please drop us an email at email@example.com and include your full name and postal mailing address so that we can get you the Bulletin and Application in August.
Recognition Ceremony invitations do not go out until April and will be sent to the email address you provided on your WATS application, should your student qualify. If your email address has changed, please notify us immediately. The top 25% of all scorers in ceremony states are invited to these ceremonies held in May. Please do not inquire as to qualification until this time, as we must wait until the end of March for the final scores to be received from Feb testers before we have this data. For dates and more information, please see our Ceremonies page.
